CAREER

Adriano Sisti takes his first steps in the world of engines at an early age.

A 7-year-old father gives him a Malaguti Grizzly 50cc (he tries with a kart without success because as soon as Adriano sells a mini bike he realizes he is in love with two wheels) with which he starts training behind the house and in a circuit near his home.

At the age of 11, the first first race in town disputed his Polini-powered mini-motorcycle (racing) Vittorazi, getting the podium there. Give him a succession of presences in city competitions and training his small circuits. Because of the family he is forced to take a look away from racing for a few years, a period in which the passion softens and gives even more voice to the personal desire, to become a professional driver. If you connect your mountain roads with your scooter, every day without ever losing sight of your goal, arriving thanks to your uncle back on track, this time with an Aprilia 125 sports production with that if you train on the track.

He also obtains numerous podiums in other championships in which he participates sporadically as a wild card. In the Stage6 cup championship, in an amazing race, where the best official teams are lined up, he constantly fights for the podium, after having printed the second time in qualifying starting in the front row. In that event one of the most significant photos of his scooters career is taken. it is perhaps the only driver able to "derail" a 2t 70cc scooter for more than 30 m in a row on acceleration, demonstrating how much of it it must take to stay in the group of official vehicles, equipped with a completely different evolutionary package and technical.

Also in 2009, Sisti was chosen by Polini Motori © Spa to appear on the cover of their international catalog. In addition, the Cartiera Paolo Pigna ©, also in 2009, markets a line of school and office products, distributed throughout the world, with Adriano Sisti as testimonial, using his images on diaries, notebooks, notepads, etc.

The inexperience (an hour and a half of tests in total in this new discipline) and the excitement in the race make him commit an error in the start of race 1, where he places himself in eighth place. In race two, due to the malfunction of the rear tire heater, Adriano is the victim of a spectacular and violent high side during the first lap, while he is approaching the leading group.

In the race, Sisti is forced to run a wet race, with mixed mud asphalt, a ground he was not used to. Earn valuable points for the championship just started. In the second race at Ottobiano (PV), Sisti prints his first pole position on a wet track. Closes his first experience in the context of the world S1GP in fourth place overall. In the third race of the Italian Internationals on the Viterbo circuit, Sisti, after taking second place in the qualifying, starts very well, conquering the first position and keeping it until the last lap. An imperfect set-up from the middle of the race onwards makes him repeatedly lose grip on the rear tire. He is passed in the final closing in second place in race one. In the second heat Sisti, after a tight battle, manages to move to the first position, which he keeps until halfway through the race. Warned of a penalty against his pursuer, he manages well the arrival in second position, thus gaining his first absolute victory in the International series of Italy.

n the fourth race on the Latina circuit, Max Biaggi suffers a serious injury on Friday that requires rescue operations (he will not take part in the race due to the major physical problems remedied). Adriano Sisti feels the pressure of his home GP, which drives him to give his best during the start of the weekend. Take third place on the grid behind two outsiders from international speed championships. In race one Sisti starts very well, conquering the first position and accumulating a good advantage over his pursuers. Start from the middle of the race to suffer again the slipping of the rear tire which allows the pursuers to reach it. Closes the race in third position. In race two, Sisti is nervous, something is not working as it should. He finds himself in the rear, looking for an unbridled comeback. In the middle of the race, in seventh position, Sisti is involved in a rear-end collision caused by a driver who precedes him. Adriano coming from behind, fails to stop his TM at the bottom of the long straight, hitting an opponent in full, hitting the head on the ground in a violent way. During the race he does not immediately realize the conditions, and Adriano Sisti is transported by helicopter to the nearest hospital. The diagnosis underestimates the complications and Adriano Sisti, discharged from the hospital, replaces his clinical picture in a difficult rehabilitation process. Adriano Sisti retires from the championship not taking part in the last races. At the same time, he will end his collaboration with Alfa Romeo to devote himself to himself, and recover perfectly after the bad time he has just experienced. The only event that does not want to miss is the Sic Supermoto day 2017. Despite the poor conditions, it participates in the endurance in honor of Marco Simoncelli. In 2018, Sisti participates in the "Rally Italia Talent" program, organized by Aci Sport in collaboration with Abarth®, RDS®. "a big brother of the engines", able to select among a base of tens of thousands of pilots, the best Rally drivers in the National scene. Sisti, at his first experience in the rally field, overcomes all the regional selections arriving in the final touching the category victory.

In 2019, Sisti repeats the experience of Rally Italia Talent, which has grown in number of members including many professional rally drivers and car speed riders. Adriano goes back to the finals on the Adria circuit (RO), where he is accompanied by the navigator Gioele Vighi, and is the author of an excellent performance.
